Day 2: One Body, One Conductor
Reading: Ephesians 4:4-6
Devotional: Paul reminds the church at Ephesus that despite every difference in background, personality, and preference, there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God over all. Unity does not mean everyone looks the same, sounds the same, or agrees on every secondary issue. It means everyone is following the same conductor. An orchestra produces something beautiful not because every instrument plays the same note, but because every musician keeps their eyes on the one leading them. When your eyes drift from Christ to the opinions and preferences of others, the music suffers. Fix your eyes on him.
Reflection Question: Are there secondary issues in your church or personal relationships that have been given more weight than your shared faith in Christ?
Practical Application: Identify one preference or opinion you hold that you have allowed to become a source of division, and intentionally release it in prayer today.
