Transforming Fear Into Prayer
Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:1-12
Devotional: Jehoshaphat's story teaches us that being terrified and being faithful aren't mutually exclusive. When armies surrounded him from every direction, he didn't pretend to be brave—he admitted his terror. But here's the key: he immediately turned to God. He didn't spiral into anxiety or reach for worldly solutions; he "begged the Lord for guidance." Your honest prayers matter more than polished ones. God isn't looking for you to have it all together before you approach Him. He invites you to bring your raw emotions, your midnight fears, your 3 a.m. anxieties directly to His throne. Jehoshaphat's declaration, "We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you," is a powerful prayer for every overwhelmed heart. Today, instead of replaying your problems, reshape your worries into prayers. Acknowledge your fear, then immediately seek His face.
