The Promise of God's Presence
Reading: Isaiah 43:1-3
Devotional: God never promises us a trouble-free life, but He promises something better—His presence through every trial. When Isaiah declares, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you," notice it says "when," not "if." Difficulties will come, but God's promise stands firm: you won't drown, you won't be consumed. The God who calls you by name and declares "you are mine" walks with you through deep waters and burning fires. Today, whatever rising waters you face, remember that Emmanuel—God with us—is not a distant observer but an intimate companion. His presence transforms your valley into a testimony. When you feel surrounded by troubles, don't focus on the depth of the water; focus on the faithfulness of the One who walks beside you. He has never left you, and He never will.
